I would recommend that you do not have a SculpSure treatment while you are having your menstrual period. The treatment could be more painful during that time.
In no way will having your period effect the results of the treatment. The only thing is you may be more sensitive at this time, the pain being a little more uncomfortable but we do offer pronox (laughing gas) for anyone who needs!Most patients feel a tingling sensation intermittently throughout the treatment which is generally well-tolerated. For those who are concerned with the sensation we do offer a form of laughing gas that can be administered during the procedure to make the Patient more comfortable if necessary.
You "can" do Sculpsure on your belly when you are on your period, however it may be more uncomfortable during your period, so I would recommend waiting till after. Many women compare the feeling of Sculpsure to menstrual cramps, so having menstrual cramps on top of menstrual cramps is not ideal.
SculpSure treatment will not do damage to muscle. It may be possible to treat excess fat around your calves, but ultimately, an examination of you would be needed to determine if you might be a good candidate for the treatment.
