Can you use Sculpsure near the rib cage/bra line area? (photo)

Question

Can I do sculpsure under the bra line area? I want to treat some bulges there but the tip of my rib cage will be within the frame under the fat on the far edges. Can I still get treated there? Will the laser bounce off bone and cause pain?

Linda L Thank you for your questions and photographs.  An in person consultation is necessary to determine your best course of action.  Sculpsure is terrific procedure for this area.  The beauty of the treatment is it can be customized to select areas as well as large areas. We utilize the Pronox system to control comfort during the procedure.  Most will need two treatments per area for best success.

While treating that area might be off-label (meaning that it was not specifically addressed in the studies submitted to FDA for evaluation and approval/clearance) as long as there is pinchable fat in that area, it can be treated with SculpSure. I hope it helps and good luck!

SculpSure can be performed near the ribs and this is not a problem.  The heat will affect the fat but not the skin or the bone.

you will not have any problems treating bra fat with Sculpsure. it will not do any damage to the ribs etc. It will only reduce the fat. definitely need to plan 2 sessions, about 6 weeks apart.david berman md
