Can I use face masks after laser hair removal treatment?

I like to keep my skin clean so I always use turmeric face mask once a week at least but I've had my first laser hair removal treatment (full face & neck) two days ago and I'm wondering if i can use home made face masks this week & if it's okay to wash my face with hot water after 48 hours from the treatment

It is essential to shave the skin before laser hair removal.  Otherwise, the laser will just singe the hair and not burn the "root" of the hair and your removal will not be permanent.  You don't have to worry about a permanent "shadow".  Please consult an expert.  Best, Dr. Green

This can be treated with hair removal which would get rid of the problem completely.  I suggest seeing an expert.  Best, Dr. Emer.

We advise our patients to shave at least 24 hours prior to their treatment. It is very important however not to wax or pluck hairs, as we need them to be intact in the follicle for the procedure to be effective. I think it is important to understand that if the hair is long, treatment can damage...
