my doctor advised me to quit monoxidil after HT and gave me Forcapil and 3 PRP sessions . I've made 2 procedures in two consecutive days.1st day, they took 3000 grafts then they made up scratches in the recipient area.they said i had too much blood flowing out of my scalp (because of monoxidil), we would make a HT tomorrow, this normal judgement?the next day they took4000 grafts and then transplanted all 7000 grafts.i am now 2.5 months post-op,my hair looks worse than what it was with monoxdil .
Answer: Something is not adding up. It would be doubtful you had a 7000 graft surgery in two days. Something is not adding up. It would be doubtful you had a 7000 graft surgery in two days. You need to follow up with your doctor if you are having issues.

Answer: 7000 Grafts Even just 3000 or 4000 are pretty big transplants, but to have 7000 is extremely high- without seeing pictures there's no way to say for sure but with that many grafts it's likely your donor area will look noticeably thinner, even after you are finished healing. It's normal procedure to stop minoxidil for a few weeks following the transplant, but usually patients resume using it after two weeks or sometimes a month. As for your results, don't worry about them until you're past 6 months- growth is extremely variable until then and some people may even look worse than they started for a while.

Answer: 7000 grafts in two days If you had the first 3000 grafts taken out and stored and then the next 4000 grafts the following day with all of the grafts transplanted, I suspect that all of the grafts might not live, particularly those taken out the day before. IF the grafts were all transplanted on the second day, then not all of the grafts taken out in day one would survive. If you had 7000 FUE grafts, I am almost certain that you will have donor side depletion (balding in the donor area) as that many FUE grafts will make the donor area see-through.

Answer: Something is not right Hello I have a couple of concerns with your question 1. 7000 grafts??? is that even possible. I am not sure, and that many is never required. No one would ever want to transplant extracted hair after 24 hours, since the viability comes down tremendously. so i am not sure, if the hair extracted on the first day will show 100 percent survival. Most experienced hair transplant centres will want to not keep the hair out of the system for more than 2-4 hours. 2. Depending on the time post transplant, you will need at least 6-9 months for a complete result regards Dr Amit Gupta
