How can you determine if your facial features are balanced?

To determine if your features are balanced, is the rule of fifths legit? I’ve seen some sources say pfl = 1/5 but I’ve never seen a face with a nose and pfl that match. I do however see faces where the full eye unit matches nose width . I don’t want to consider procedures on my nose if it’s not actually too wide.
