Under eye ledges drive me nuts!! (photos)

Question

Hello! I need some expert opinions please. With or without Botox when I smile I get these deep troughs under my eyes. My cheeks push up and almost create ledges. They drive me nuts! I have tried different placements with Botox for crowsfeet but nothing seems to help. I have been researching the "microdroplet" technique with fillers around the eyes. Do you think this method will solve my issue? I am willing to try anything, lasers and even surgery at this point! Thank you!

Hello, and thanks for your question. I do think some carefully placed soft filler like Belotero would soften that contour. To minimize the risk of complications and maximize the likelihood of a favorable outcome, I recommend that you only get treated by a well-trained and experienced dermatologist or plastic surgeon. I do think we need to see your eyes at rest and with animation. I suspect you may benefit from some correction of the tear trough area.
