In 2013, I had surgery to reduce the size of my areolas after previously having breast reduction. However, my body seemed to have some reaction to the dissolvable sutures, leading to my areolas having more scarring and stretching out. I’m considering a third surgery with a permanent Gore-Tex suture to hopefully keep my areolas smaller and uniform. What are the chances my body will reject the permanent suture if it didn’t react well to the dissolvable ones?

Dear blahblahsign,
lightening cream probably won't do much and you probably need areola reduction. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.

The areolae are the stretchy part of your chest skin. If you have a revision, permanent sutures will still be needed and you will have to avoid all lifting with your chest for 2 months.
