Have any surgeons seen complications with a 345cc gummy with lift, full profile?

Hi, I'm going to be getting an augment with mastopexy and have gotten a couple of different views during consultations. I have a narrow chest (12cm). I've heard from one surgeon the absolute largest implant I can get when combining with lift is 300cc's because I may need a revision within one year, and it's a higher risk of complications. Another surgeon says 345cc's is fine combining the two procedures. Have any surgeons seen complications with a 345cc gummy with lift, full profile? Also, next question is it safe to combine dual-plane placement same time as lift, and would that cause inadequate blood flow, wound healing complications? Thank you!

Thanks for your question. Combining a High or Full profile breast implant with a lift is not advisable, as the tissue that is lifting will "naturally" provide projection to the breast once it sits on the highest projecting portion of the breast. I usually advise a moderate or moderate-plus profile that offers the advantages of the implant with upper-pole fullness without the downsides. With a small chest, its important to pick a size the "fits" rather than a number of cc's. Two procedures are rarely performed separately unless there is significant "sagging" or poor skin quality from massive weight loss.
