Based on the photos that you posted, you appear to have a deep radix. The Radix is the root of the nose, and just below that, I can see that you have a very small profile bump. Usually small issues like this can be camouflaged with injectable fillers. In our practice, we prefer to use microdroplet Silikon-1000 for permanent results. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Dr Joseph
I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to go over your desired results. Facial fillers (voluma, restylane, juvederm) can be used to improve the symmetry of the nose. Surgery would be needed to improve nostrils or overall shape. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Hi SethMonteverde, Thank you for sending in your question and photographs. First, I should say that in-person examination and evaluation will be key in developing a specific Treatment Plan for you. That being said, I like to non-surgically contour the nose through the use of dermal fillers.I think you’re a great candidate for non-surgical rhinoplasty. By adding a little definition to the bridge of your nose and the tip, we can sculpt and define your nose. The results will not make you nose look bigger or wider, just the opposite, your nose will look defined, sculpted, and in harmony with your features. I prefer non-surgical rhinoplasty for several reasons: The results are immediate. In about 30 minutes or less, we can shape and define your noseDermal fillers allow greater precision for shaping and sculpting than traditional surgical methodsDermal fillers are reversible. If, for any reason, you’re unhappy with your results, the dermal filler can be dissolved. Little-to-no downtime. You can return to normal activities and work right away. Treatment is generally well-tolerated; however, bruising, swelling, and discomfort can occur in some patients. I suggest consulting with an experienced Physician to determine if the treatment is right for you.Check out my video showing a patient treatment demonstration and a few before/after photographs. I hope this information was helpful. Best of luck,David C. Mabrie, M.D.
Thanks for your question. The photos don't allow a full opinion on this, but if you are looking to straighten the profile then this can be done with fillers, sometimes completely and sometimes just for some improvement. Straightening the nose as seen from the front can be much more difficult to achieve. On your photo looking from your left side there is a little unevenness in the profile, mainly towards the tip of the nose and I believe it is likely that this could be improved.Nose treatments require experience and good technique so be sure to consult someone suitably experienced.
Hi SethMonteverde,As you probably know, Liquid Nose Jobs are now the rage because results approach that of traditional rhinoplasty without the downtime and at a fraction of the cost. Some clients even try it "for size" to see if it looks good on them before committing to something more permanent with surgery. And the beauty of it is that the fillers we use are made of hyaluronic acid, which is something that we naturally produce in our body.Typically, the procedure takes less than an hour and fillers like Voluma or Restylane can last about 1.5 -2 years before it dissolves. Just like Botox, you can have it over lunch and return to normal activities with minimal swelling, bruising or redness after the procedure - a far cry from the 6 months it takes to recover from rhinoplasty! Most procedures use up one vial and can correct bumps and contours making the nose more balanced and proportional to the face. Oftentimes, its amazing to see how the nose can look visually slimmer, straighter, smaller and more patrician-looking, when volume was actually added! The tip which usually goes south and rounded as we age can also be "lifted" and made sharper. However, it may not be for everyone (e.g. nose extremely fleshy, bumps too huge) but a straighter nose can be achieved under skillful hands. In fact, though temporary fillers are preferred, some clients go for permanent fillers after achieving good results with their first liquid nose job!All the best, Justin Harper, M.D.
The large nose requires removal of cartilage and bone; the non-surgical rhinoplasty is usually not totally effective for this condition. Diminution of the appearance of the bump may be accomplished with non-surgical rhinoplasty (injection of fillers). These can be temporary (Radiesse, R...
Most non-surgical nose job procedures are performed utilizing a temporary gel filler like HA. Rarely, HA may lead to vascular occlusion, necrosis, embolism, blindness, and stroke. Complications like this are rare and I believe they may be associated with the person who is holding the syringe....
If you developed an infection after a non-surgical nose job treatment and are experiencing redness, swelling, and pain, this should improve with antibiotics. If you have a simple skin infection, this should resolve over the next 7 to 10 days. If you developed an indolent infection often...
