I am planning to have hair transplant, so I have read a lots of Q&As here. Some surgeons say FUE scars can improve even after 1 year, some say they won't. Can the scars actually improve after 12 months? If yes, how much will they improve in terms of size and color?

Once the Mohs surgery is done and successful with no more residual nevus, then you wait 10-12 months until the scar has matured to evaluate for a possible FUE hair into the scar to hide the scar.
