With this treatment going too deep into the epidermis can happen very easily when not properly educated on a micro-needling device. Which can lead to the bad production of collagen, dark spots, etc. For the scar, everybody's healing process is different, but most of the time when you have a scar, itchiness can be a sign of healing and cell turnover. Aftercare is so important when doing micro-needling treatments. Separate the sessions every 6-8 weeks, use extra sun protection, and no caffeine, alcohol, or exercise for at least 48 hours, peeling is expected. Do not pick at your skin after micro-needling during the treatment you want to use a gliding gel, and after the treatment, Aquaphor & Stratacel is recommended. For someone who also has a scar, try a growth factor in between treatments. Hope this helps!
