26F - I’ve only done botox twice on forehead, between brows and around the sides of my eyes. I am a very expressive person so i understand why i have nasolable folds. Which i absolutely hate :( also i have little hollowness ubderneth eyes. I just feel over i have no shape to my face. I’ve always had big checks. I’m scared to do fillers but with knowing more information from honest doctors i will consider. Please give honest opinion on where and why i should get filler placed on my face. Thankyou
Answer: Dermal Filler Hi @ vmermaid567! Fillers provide structural support and plumpness restoring a more refreshed and rejuvenated appearance. You would be a great candidate for tear trough and nasolabial fold dermal fillers. I recommend seeking treatments from expert injectors who have the skill and experience to precisely inject fillers into treatment areas and avoid risks and complications. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!

Answer: Facial Slimming — Masseter Botox, Facetite/Renuvion J Plasma, Buccal Fat Pad Removal, Fillers to sculpt the Cheek/Jawline/Chin This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. Buccal fat pad gives slimming not symmetry. Masseter botox will make you slimmer and make the jawline more loose. Fillers help give shaping and contouring. If you want perfect or close to perfect symmetry you need maxillofacial surgery or implants customized. I suggest seeing an expert to go through all options. Most of my younger clients use fillers to give them shaping especially on the cheeks, jawline, and chin which make the face look more slim and tight; and threads such as PDO or Instalift can build collagen and support the facial shaping and skin looseness over time, slowing down the aging process and given the face a more “snatched” look; and morpheus8 or PiXel8 deep microneedling RF can tighten crepe skin especially on the neck and jawline and is great for long term tightening of the full face, neck and chest; its often used to give the face a slimmer more sculpted look because it tightens the skin and gives lift. an early face lift can be performed as well even in younger clients if they want a different facial shape, maxillofacial surgery with bone breaking or shaving can also be done. For facial slimming a combination of treatments are always needed. Options include: 1. Buccal fat pad removal to reduce fat on the lower face 2. Factite or Renuvion/J Plasma to tighten the lower face, jawline, and chin to reduce fat and give the jawline and neck tightening and shaping. 3. Botox to the masseter to reduce the muscular size of the jaw giving the face an illusion of being more slender 4. Fillers to the jawline, chin, cheeks, temples and brow help to shape the face and make it more angled and defined Always use at home derma rolling (see link to Emerageskin x anteageMD roller plus stem cells/hyaluronic acid ampules) and peels like emeragecosmetics enlighten or aerify that can be used to improve skin quality and tighten the skin while improving wrinkles, pigmentation, acne, and Melasma. See an expert who does facial shaping with surgical and non surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Needing some facial rejuvenation: What are your treatment options? Hello, and thank you for your question. You appear to be a good candidate for dermal fillers. When injected into the nasolabial folds, the filler will make the area smoother, with less of a demarcation between the cheeks and the lower face. Filler in the tear trough, usually via a microcannula, will add subtle volume to reduce discoloration in this area. Fillers are also a great way to enhance your facial contours and refresh your appearance. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with a reputable board-certified facial plastic surgeon or an experienced, qualified injector. Such experts will have the optimal skills, knowledge of the most advanced injection techniques, as well as artistry and knowledge of facial aesthetics, harmony, and proportion, helping you achieve the most natural-looking results. During your consultation, your provider can assess your facial profile and skin quality, recommend the best procedure/s, and ensure the best possible outcome.

Answer: Considering options Fillers are used to add volume to depleted areas and to enhance facial contours. They work well under the eyes as well as the nasolabial folds. To further enhance facial contours you could consider adding Botox to the masseter muscles to slim the jawline. See an expert injector near you to learn more.

Answer: Where to Place Dermal Fillers? Hello Vmermaid. We would recommend Restylane for you under eye hollowing. Looks like 1 syringe would be enough. Nasolabial folds around the mouth and nose can be addressed with many different types of fillers. We use Radiesse, Sculptra, Restylane DeFyne, Countour, etc. Many are viable. Likely 2 syringes of typical filler. Finally, we would recommend some filler at either side of your chin in what's called the pre-jowl sulcus. The small indentation on either side of the chin at the jawline. Probably 1 syringe of Lyft or Radiesse. This would make the jawline more continuous and attractive. Best of luck.
