Is the 1-week interval between Vanquish treatments necessary? Or can you wait longer between treatments?

Hello. I am considering having my abdomen treated with Vanquish. I've read that the optimal treatment method is 6 treatments spaced one week apart. Is there any advantage to getting the treatments one week apart from each other, or can you wait, say, 2-3 weeks between treatments and get the same result? Also, how much surface area does the Vanquish device cover? Can it cover both upper and lower abs in one go?

I am not sure that there have been enough scientific studies to answer about optimal frequency for Vanquish. The treatment covers from side (hip/flank) to side.

The recommended protocol is one week between treatments.  However if you need to wait two weeks between treatments, there should not be a significant difference in your results.  In our practice we combine the Vanquish with the Viora Reaction body treatments to speed the dispersement of the destroyed fat cells, and have seen great results.Good Luck!

Vanquish: time between treatmentsVanquish is a radio frequency treatment (RF)n  Vela3  Which we also use combine three modalitties including RF.  There are limited studies on the best intervals at this time. Waiting too long between treatments may not provide the optimal results, but there are not enough studies to look at  this.We strongly recommend staying with the protocol   .We do combine ultra shape and vela shape #  along with Vanquish to get the best and quickest results for out patientd

the results with vanquish alone are very minimal compared to liposonix, ultrashape or coolsculpting.  It gets better if you combine vanquish with an RF treatment like velashape or venus legacy.  I suggest a different option.  However, time between treatments isnt really important.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Vanquish emits radiofrequency waves that cause heat
production in the fatty layer.  This leads to the destruction of a
perscentage of the fat cells.  Based on this fact, it should not make a
significant difference in the results by waiting 2-3 weeks between the
treatments.  In majority of individuals, vanquish covers the upper, lower
abdomen and flanks.

Hi,The standard protocol is once a week.  However, we have patients that do an accelerated protocol of twice a week and we have had some patients have a delay between treatments for vacations. The time you wait between treatments doesn't matter. Results should be the same. I've heard you can do 3 in a week. You can't do upper and lower flanks with the same treatment. It would require a 2nd treatment.
