I had a BCC removed from the right side of my nasal tip about a year ago and now I have a notable indentation there. Wondering what my repair options are? Would it be possible to inject a small amount of filler in that area?

Based on your photo, you can definitely try a filler first before doing any kind of surgery. If the tissue elevates nicely then that would be all you have to do. If it doesn't, then a small procedure and insertion of cartilage graft could help. Be sure to see an expert rhinoplasty surgeon for consultation.

Yes, you may be a candidate for a very conservative nonsurgical correction depending on how the area has healed.

After Mohs surgery, especially on the nasal tip, it’s very common to have a small contour defect or indentation. Once everything is fully healed (which you are at ~1 year), we can sometimes improve this with very precise, small-volume filler placement.

A few important points I always emphasize:

The nose is one of the highest-risk areas for filler, so technique matters a lot
We typically use micro-aliquots of soft hyaluronic acid filler
The goal is camouflage, not volume change
In some cases, even a tiny amount can make a big aesthetic difference

However, I would only proceed after examining the scar quality, vascular pattern, and depth of the defect—because not all indentations respond equally well to filler.

There are many ways to address this dent. Fillers are the simplest but your skin may be too thin.  There are many other options involving excision  and closure or use of a small flap. A small triangular advancement flap would be what I would try
