The shape of my eye has changed following the palate expanding device, any suggestions? (Photos)

I noticed the lateral & lower rim of my eye has changed a lot after treatment with an adult palatal expander, the MSE. It broke my zygomatic/palatal suture, confirmed by a cbct. I don't love the impact it had on my eyes. Before I had big almond shaped eyes. My eye shape is now more horizontally long. The plus side is I don't need as much makeup on the lower rim, there is less sceral show. But overall they look less striking/big. Is this a positive or negative and can a surgery change it back?
