I had liposuction of the inner thighs a week ago in Florida. I did not have lymphatic massages post surgery because I had to fly back home and thought I could do it myself. I was not successful draining any liquid out of the incisions. One inner thigh looks red/hard upon touch, I don't feel liquid inside it, it just feels hard and its painful. It also radiates heat. I contacted my doctors nurse, and she hasn't responded yet (its been 24 hrs). I just want to know what it potentially may be?

Answer: Smart Lipo Results & Aftercare--add Venus Legacy, Exilis, Vanquish, Cellutone, ZWave, VASER, ThermiRF I recommend following up with your surgeon today for an evaluation. For after care, I suggest lymphatic massage, hyperbaric oxygen, and RF treatments like venus legacy to help reduce any swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Problems after liposuction From the pictures you sent and without the benefit of a physical exam I would advise you to contact your surgeon to rule out the possibility of cellulitis and the need for antibiotics. The problem is in only one side and quite swollen and red so definitively call your surgeon.
