I have a fibroid on the exterior of my cervix, the size of a golfball, and a few other smaller ones in different areas. Could this be affected somehow by cool sculpting?? If so, how? How far down, from the surface does the cool sculpting reach and freeze?? I am 5’7” and 137lbs, sz 2-4, I workout everyday and diet. I have just a few inches around my abdomen that I just can’t seem to loose. Cellulite and some saggy skin in that area, I need help and suggestions. Thank you!!

Having a CoolSculpting treatment to the abdomen will not affect fibroids.  The applicator will draw in only skin and fat and not reach to the muscle below.  So, everything from the muscle down will not be affected.

Coolsculpting, when done properly, is an incredibly safe cosmetic procedure. Given how the applicators are positioned, it is not likely to have any affect on a fibroid within your cervical region.

No, Coolsculpting should not negatively impact your fibroids. Keep in mind, for best results with Coolsculpting, a combination approach is needed. I recommend adding radiofrequency treatments like Vanquish for skin tightening and with Z wave/Cellutone for skin smoothing. Good news! CoolSculpting treats the superficial  fat under our skin but does not go deep enough into the body to affect internal organs or fibroid growths. I would suggest that you see a physician experienced in CoolSculpting and LaserLipo (works better for skin tightening if skin laxity is a problem) to assess your problem area and discuss the best options for you to achieve your desired results.
