I was treated for lichen simplex chronicus (thickened skin on the penis due to friction) with topical steroids which improved the lesions a lot(improved thickening). Can anything be done in terms of healing/fading them/restoring pigment(perhaps laser?). If so does laser increase risk of melanoma?(I previously had Acral melanoma removed from my heel.) Thank you in advance.
