Just to be clear, I haven’t had any surgery. For a period of 48 hours I fairly gently taped my nose tip upwards (vertical and horizontal tape) because it was swelling up due to allergies. Since taping my nose tip upwards, I can feel the cartilage at the tip of my nose pushing upwards through the skin, when they used to lie a bit lower down. It hasn’t returned to normal in 3 days. Have I permanently damaged / moved my nose cartilages at the tip?
