The nurse at a plastic surgeon’s office recommended Morpheus8 for tightening my jawline area. Would it be a good treatment for a double chin with a little pinchable fat, or should I just invest in chin lipo?
Answer: Morpheus Ignite/Burst for submental laxity Thanks Nnn4 for your question! It seems like you're considering two popular options to address your double chin: Morpheus and chin liposuction. Although they function differently and are appropriate for various people, both procedures can successfully reduce the appearance of a double chin. As a non-surgical method, Morpheus is a minimally invasive technique that uses radiofrequency energy in conjunction with microneedling. It improves the tightness, tone, and texture of the skin by promoting the formation of collagen. It works well for loose skin and mild to moderate fat buildup. It has little downtime, and for best results, 3 or more treatments could be required. Chin Liposuction as a Surgical approach removes excess fat from under the chin. Clients with substantial fat buildup benefit the most from it, and the effects are striking and long-lasting. In addition, there are possible hazards and consequences, as well as the need for surgery, anesthesia, and extended recuperation time. Given the severity of your double chin, which falls into the mild to moderate fat and loose skin category, the Morpheus treatment is your best option. In our office we provide Morpheus Ignite Burst which is the best, most updated version of Morpheus treatment platform. The advantages include faster, and more efficient treatment with very little pain and quickest recovery. This is due to advanced technology utilized in this version of device. It's important to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist to determine the best treatment for your specific needs. They can assess your individual circumstances and recommend the most appropriate approach. Hope this was helpful! Best wishes, Dr Ali Sajjadian TRIPLE Board Certified Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Jawline/submentum lipo, quantum and morpheus are the BEST and only option for great results here. Liposuction under local with the addition of Morpheus and quantum/facetite can really make a huge improvement and is so easy to undergo. Morpheus by itself is good but not enough for what you need.

Answer: Both treatments can address a double chin, but they work in different ways. Here’s how to decide. Hello, Thank you for your question! Whether Morpheus8 or chin liposuction is the better option for you depends on your specific goals and anatomy. Morpheus8 for a Double Chin Morpheus8 combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy to tighten skin, stimulate collagen, and reduce small amounts of fat. It’s a great non-surgical option if: You have mild to moderate skin laxity and want to improve jawline definition. There’s a small amount of pinchable fat under your chin, as the RF energy can help reduce it over time. You prefer little to no downtime compared to surgery. However, Morpheus8 typically requires multiple sessions to achieve optimal results, and it may not be the best choice for significant fat reduction. Chin Liposuction If your main concern is excess fat under the chin and you’re looking for dramatic, one-time results, chin liposuction may be a better investment. This procedure: Removes fat directly for immediate and noticeable contouring. Is ideal for individuals with good skin elasticity, as the skin will naturally tighten post-procedure. Requires a short recovery period but delivers permanent results with proper maintenance. Combination Approach In some cases, combining both treatments can yield the best results. For example, liposuction can remove fat, and Morpheus8 can tighten the skin afterward to enhance definition and prevent any residual laxity. Ultimately, I recommend scheduling a consultation to assess your skin elasticity, fat volume, and overall goals. Together, we can create a personalized plan to achieve a sharp, sculpted jawline. Warm regards, Dr. Jennifer Berman

Answer: Is Morpheus eight the best treatment for submental laxity? More information is needed, such as your age, and a full set of facial and neck, photographs of all angles in a chin neutral position. No selfies. It's very important to understand that these energy based devices are going to be only minimally beneficial, if anything.. it's also important to understand that liposuction can only accomplish removal of the fat deposits above the platysma muscle, and it appears that you have fat deposits below the platysma muscle. If you have fat deposit below the muscle, a surgical neck lift with a platysma plasty is going to be required to significantly improve your jawline.
