Best Laser for Fitzpatrick Type 5/6?

Question

I'm currently evaluating laser hair removal options and I'm struggling to determine which laser would offer me the best results over 6-8 treatments: Candela GentleMax Pro with Nd: YAG laser or Cynosure Apogee Elite with YAG laser? For background, I do have dark hair in the areas I would like to have laser hair removal (upper lip/chin, sternum, areola, abdomen, brazilian, full legs, underarm) with most of it being coarse. Diode, alexandrite, and YAG lasers work best. Please know that it will take a series of treatments to get improvement. I typically have patients do laser hair removal every 4 weeks for the first 3 sessions and then every 4 to 6 weeks for the following 3 sessions. This schedule gives great results with hair removal. The Candela GentleMax Pro Yag platform is absolutely fantastic at laser hair removal for darker skin types.  It is essential to use the longer wavelength Yag to avoid the risk of permanent scarring or altered pigmentation
