Hello Generous153156 thank you for your question. For laser hair removal 2 weeks after your last dose is the recommended time frame for waiting. Certain medications can make your skin prone to irritation or burning from laser hair removal so 2 weeks ensures no sensitivity.
Doxycycline is UV sensitive, not LASER sensitive, you can get hair removal while on doxycycline. I suggest you see an expert. I have all my clients use VIVATIA while getting hair removal (see link). Best, Dr. Emer.
Thank you for your question. First, how many LHR treatments did you receive? Is hair continuing to grow? Of course, it is always difficult to recommend treatment from pictures alone, but it appears you may have clogged pores and possible acne scars. I would recommend a series of chemical peels...
Laser hair removal doesn't cause acne or worsen acne, now some guys get ingrown hairs from the hair removal so that should be treated properly. Best, Dr. Emer.
Hi m1412, Over the course of your hair removal treatments the hair follicle will become smaller & softer. The hair can become to fine to pierce through the skin, especially if the skin is dry. I’d recommend a scrub with AHA/BHA, as well as moisturising regularly. Good luck! ACM.
