How can I reduce the appearance of enlarged hair pores after laser hair removal? (photos)

Question

I have this large looking pores/ hair follicles where hair used to grow on my stomach. Some of them maybe be trapped hairs that won't come out. I've received laser hair removal and hair no longer grows but the pores are left looking like this. It's been a year and i exfoliate, use aha/ bha products and i'm not sure what to try. What treatment could i seek from a doctor? Any laser treatments or peels or any suggestions? I'd like this to be normal skin soon. Please please help me

this needs more laser hair removal and pigmentation suppression with at home peels like enlighten and AERIFY (see link).

Thank you for your question. First, how many LHR treatments did you receive? Is hair continuing to grow? Of course, it is always difficult to recommend treatment from pictures alone, but it appears you may have clogged pores and possible acne scars. I would recommend a series of chemical peels to alleviate the black heads, reduce the appearance of scars and pores.

Thank you for your question! I would suggest trying a retinol or retin-a on the area in hopes to purge any clogged hairs and minimize pore size. Give it a good 6 weeks to see how it is improving and try not to use too much as that can irritate the skin. Hope this helps!
