I was hit in the head with an object about 5 months ago. This caused a very deep laceration that I had repaired in the ER. There is still a bump on my forehead that is very hard and immobile. It feels like it's deep in the muscle or even extra bone. I was reading that it could be a calcified hematoma, bone bruise, or osteoma and that these are difficult to treat. I plan on getting a scar revision anyway. Is there a way to remove this bump during a scar revision? Or is will it go away on its own?
