Good question and sorry to hear about your injury. I am a little confused as the picture seems to be a more fresh injury rather than scarring?  Generally speaking there are several things I recommend to my patients about scar care:--avoid sun exposure (which is difficult on the face other than hats, large sunglasses) and use a sunscreen with SPF 30+ every day, applied after moisturizer.  Sun on scars leads to poor healing and often pink or dark pigment formation--massage the scars several times daily--use a silicone based scar cream/gel; silicone should be the 1st ingredient listed (e.g. ScarGuard, Kelocote, Biocorneum)--laser treatments started early can often be helpful to improve the appearance of scarsPlease keep in mind that nothing actually can remove scars per se, as this is how your body heals itself.  The goal is to make the scars as imperceptible as possible.
