I had rhinoplasty 5 months ago and I am pretty happy with the result, although there is a small bump on one side of the nose which my dr agrees is bone and is visible. He suggests rasping it down under general anesthetic in hospital. By the time i go in for surgery it will be 7 months from the initial op. Are there risks associated with revisionary surgery? e.g. breathing, further deformities etc

It is possible that the nasal bones might have been in-fractured too aggressively. Out fracturing them and putting nasal packing internally may help to reposition them.
