What are my surgical options for platysmal neck band removal besides neck lift? 44 years old. (photos)

Question

I am 44 and have decent elasticity in my face and neck for my age. However, since turning 40 my platysmal band appear to be on roids and it is evicerating my self esteem. Not only it is aging my overall like hell, but it also gives off a very rough and angry look to me. My elongated neck has always been one of my nicest features and if I am interested in what my *surgical* options are (NOT neck lift, and NOT Botox.. I have put in hundreds of units in and it just doesn't touch it). Help :(

​A combination of non-surgical options like Kybella, PDO NovaThreads, Ultherapy and Thermage would do well in combination for skin tightening for the neck. VASER Liposuction (with ThermiRF, Renuvion and InMode FaceTite) is a great alternative for contouring and tightening the chin and neck and can be combined with a neck lift at the same time, if you're a candidate. In such a thin neck like yours, any surgical procedure to address visible muscle bands would not create desired improvement. It would be best to seek a mild/moderate improvement with Botox injections. Good luck.

Good Morning! The bands in the middle and small ones to the side are the platysma as you know, while the larger band is the sternocleidomastoid muscle. If you've tried Botox, then another option aside from surgery would be something like microneedling RF - Morpheus8. This helps to provide toning to the skin. It is difficult to create drastic improvement without a neck lift / platysmaplasty, but not impossible. There are toning creams as well by Revision which work. Hope this helps.
