If I want to maintain long term effects how frequently should I get laser genesis?

You did not mention the time intervals between the treatments that you had in the past but I infer that they were effective. I would use that interval as a starting point and after you have established good control of your acne, you could then start slowly titrating up the time intervals between treatments and gauge the durability of the response between treatments. The other thing that you could do is to enlist the help of a dermatologist who can start you on a medical regimen to also help control your acne. Thank you for your question. Getting a laser genesis treatment once a month is a great way to keep up and maintain the benefits Laser genesis can provide. If you are concerned about pricing having a treatment every 6 weeks may be fine and be able to maintain and keep up with your treatment and the results it provides, however everyone is different.

I would recommend going once a month for 4 to 6 times, then try stretching it out to 6 to 8 weeks.  Maintenance is key, so try to keep on a regular schedule if you can.  Combining the laser with spironolactone (oral or topical) or antibiotic and regular exfoliation can be helpful as well.  Best of luck to you!
