Can laser Genesis help with the appearance of dark circles under the eye area or tighten the skin under the eye?

Hi Laurena. We typically use Genesis for issues related to acne, rosacea, redness, complexion and tone. There are several things you can do to treat bags, hollows, and dark circles, but a combination approach will give the most improvement. Non-invasive, less-downtime options such as fillers (Belotero, Juvederm Volbella), lasers (Fraxel, CO2), microneedling/PRP, Cosmelan peels and stem cells can all help give some improvement. A surgical option to remove skin and/or fat might be the best solution long-term. 
For puffiness and more significant sagging under the eyes, we often use Renuvion helium plasma radiofrequency energy to achieve incredible results and take years off of your appearance. Combining RF energy and cool helium plasma, the signs of aging (wrinkles, pigmentation, skin laxity) are improved in a Nonsurgical Eyelid Lift. The focused heating tightens and peels the upper layers of skin with extreme precision, leaving the surrounding area undamaged, smoothing and tightening the periorbital skin, and improving the overall skin quality around the eyes. Thank you for your question. Laser Genesis is a great treatment option for skin rejuvenation. It is a gentle procedure with very little downtime. During the treatment, patients wear goggles to protect their eyes from the laser. The treatment involves going around the eyes but not directly below the eyes. However, there are several other options available to help improve under eye dark circles and skin laxity, including various lasers, injectables and surgery. I would recommend consulting with a Board-Certified Dermatologist to discuss which options fit best for your desired goals.
