PDO Threads 6 months ago. I have chronic sinus infections

On March 2021 I had a total of 10 threads on my cheeks and jaw. About 2 wks after I suddenly started getting sinus infections. I'm on my 6 month post threads and the Infections are becoming more sever and aggressive. Is it possible the MD damage my sinuses? Which imaging or ultrasound can help explain if this is my case?
