How long are the new Nova Infinity PDO threads expected to last realistically?

The Infinity Threads by NovaThreads are some of my favorite threads to use in order to
provide a robust non-surgical lift. I educate my patients on the Infinity Threads lasting
about a year with the results gradually tapering down within that year as the thread
integrates into the skin and breaks down to stimulate collagen production. This
information goes for any age and gender. With that being said, the intesity of result will
depend on the amount of threads used and at home care for the threads. It is possible
to use multiple threads in many different areas depending on the cosmetic goal you are
hoping to achieve. At home care is also important as we want to be careful to not
displace the threads with facial massages or robust facial expressions within the first
few days. Going forward, I would recommend you to complete multiple in office
consultations with board certified experts to discuss your ideal aesthetic goals. This
way, they can better assess your face and create an ideal treatment plan for you.

The threads are meant to last 2 - 3 years. It also depends on where you are getting them and if they are smooth, twisted or barbed threads. The most effective area is around the mid and lower face as there is plenty of tissue to hold the threads in place. Be sure to ask your doctor if PDO threads are the right option for you.

NovaThreads can last 1.5 to 2 years. During that time they generate collagen causing the tissues to lift while they dissolve.
