Swelling not go away after subcision. What to do? (photo)

i did subcission 2 month ago i have swelling on top of my lips it was big i massaged it lately its got soft and smaller but its still there plus i have scars in this area that wasent there is steroids injections will remove this swelling ? is there a way to grt rid of it ? and improve my scars ? ty

I recommend following up with your Doctor. I'm not sure when you had your procedure, but it can take several weeks for the tissue to settle. Also, a combination approach is needed with subcision with lasers, microneedling/prp and fillers. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

In my opinion, find a expert who deals with acne scarring on a regular basis. It it is common to raise the area with anesthetic to avoid involving the nerves. Subcision is a safe and effective treatment for tethered acne scars when performed by a experienced practitioner.
