I am undergoing a BBL in a few months and I have been taking the antidepressant Paxil for about 6 months after dealing with depression and anxiety, and had planned getting this surgery before that. I am 24 and otherwise healthy but the paxil has cause me to gain weight. Me true question is whether it is safe or not to undergo surgery while taking Paxil?

Thanks for the question. It is very common to be constipated after any type of surgery due to the anesthetics, disruption in diet, and narcotic pain medication. After this long, however, you could suffer serious medical issues if you do not work on having a bowel movement....
No one knows exactly if vaping has significant detrimental effects on surgery. It is probably best to avoid it during the initial surgery and healing period.
