Lipo of upper & lower abdomen flanks, & fat transfer to breast over 700cc silicone to help cover implant. How long is recovery?

Though it varies, I find that the survival percentage is around 50%.  It's very early in your post operative course so don't worry about analyzing your results.  Just avoid breast trauma and keep pressure off your breasts for weeks.  Discuss any of your concerns with your plastic surgeon so that he/she is aware of your progress.  I like for my patients to massage the donor regions and not to massage the transferred fat early in the post operative course.  Firmness, lumps, etc may take 1-3 months to resolve.  I recommend that my patients stay away from vigorous exercise for 2 weeks.  I hope this helps

Dear calimom4,Thankfully this surgery has a pretty easy recovery when it comes to restrictions. Most importantly you should avoid excessive pressure on your breasts where the fat was placed. Your liposuction donor sites will likely be the most tender and sore. Light pressure like a lipo garment or spanx may help to keep these areas more comfortable. Ask your surgeon for their recommendations, but I would hope you are walking around a lot, weaning off of your pain meds soon (if not already) and should get back to exercise in another week or so. The lumpiness on the donor sites can be improved with massage, but I would wait until your surgeon gives you the OK for any massage on your breasts.Best of luck!

You can expect about 30 to 50% of the fat to possibly go away and can change with weight fluctuations also.  You will need to massage the lumpy areas to prevent hard scar tissue from forming.  Continue to follow up with your PS.
