Hi. One of the causes of discoloration can come from the incomplete absorption of a bruise. The blood under the skin breaksdown and the hemosiderin pigment stays behind. The J Plasma/Renuvion technology reduces bruising compared to liposuction alone. In many patients, the use of Arnica Montana supplements, bromelain dietary intake, HBOT therapy, and external ultrasound help to reduce the development of and persistence of bruising. I have not seen discoloration caused by J Plasma/Renuvion. The results are notable-please see videos demonstrating less "jiggle" as evidence of tissue contraction.
Thank you for your question. The discoloration associated with lipo is usually due to hemosiderin staining of the tissue. Hemosiderin is a breakdown product of blood which can occur with bruising. Treatment with arnica before and after the lipo can help reduce the risk for this discoloration. In addition, lymphatic massage, RF treatments (Venus Legacy or similar device) and acoustic wave therapy can all help to reduce the risk post-operatively for hemosiderin staining. Renuvion can still be traumatic beneath the skin even without lipo so there is some risk of bruising and hemosiderin staining. Renuvion needs to be performed with some form of tunneling to avoid build-up of the helium gas so it is not a procedure without any trauma.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.
Great question. In short, there is no comparison for skin tightening. The Renuvion is the best by far! Ulthera is an external ultrasound device that tightens skin, but usually the effects are subtle. Threads add volume to the face, but the "lift" created by them does not last long. Re...
Cellulite is not one "disease" or condition in my opinion, therefore your response will depend of the predominant cause of your type of cellulite. Having said that, I have been impressed with J Plasma/Renuvion's effect on thigh cellulite. Just today, I saw a patient in her 40's with moderate ...
J plasma uses cold helium to minimize trauma to the surrounding tissue while the RF(radiofrequency )technology tightens skin and stimulates collagen.Facetite uses bipolar RF which means that one probe is outside the skin and the other parallel probe is just under the skin. This allows the RF to...
