Is jaw pain normal after receiving permanent veneers? What would be the next steps if I have to go back in?

aw447733
I recently got my porcelain veneers and I love the way they look but since getting them I’ve had a great deal of jaw pain. I find myself readjusting my nite and I can feel my jaw move. I called my dentist and they advised me that it could have been from the procedure and to take ibuprofen. I was advised that if the pain doesn’t go away I’ll need to come back in. Is this normal?
