Be patient!! This surgery involves cutting and moving the bone of the chin, which understandably creates a fair bit of swelling and inflammation.  Likely, a significant amount of the "augmentation" you are seeing is edema, which will settle with time.  Hopefully, you will be much happier months from now as you approach the final result. Be patient, 10 days is too early after surgery to see the end result. A full facial profile picture would have been helpful, but in general, here are some comments. In terms of changes to the chin, a bony change of 5 mm is the minimal amount of bony change that you can exert a significant effect on the overlying soft tissue. A 3-4 mm change to the chin will not show much of a difference. With genioplasty surgery, I always move the chin forward a minimum of 6 mm and recently moved a chin forward 9 mm. Once the surgical swelling resolves, you will see improvement. Your jawline looks nicely defined.
