Did I get a bad BBL or is there anything I can do to see better results? (photos)

Thanks for your question. You're still in the early stage of healing and youre probably still swollen. There is a process of swelling and bruising that peaks at 3 days after surgery and then undergoes the first stage of major resolution in the first 2 weeks after surgery.  The lateer phase of healing takes place over the 2-3 months after surgery where everything really settles and softens.  It is after this time that we are getting close to the final result, though this varies patient to patient.

Thanks for the question and provided information as well.
You are still early on the healing process, it can take up to six months to see your final results, so please be patient. At the stage you are in, inflammation is normal. You should seek a second opinion, six months after surgery, if by then you are not happy with the results.
If you have any concerns, please follow up close with your plastic surgeon.

missmarlow Hi There, Thank you for your Question Many surgeons, including myself, offer online virtual consultations where you send us your photos and we can estimate the cost. I, like many surgeons, also offer free consultations so that you can be examined and given the most accurate quote.You have to understand that with out a before pictures there is no way that we can compare , you also have to remember that not all that fat survives after a BBL . 

First of all, you do not want to lose any weight after a BBL as the fat transferred will just melt away with the weight loss. It is always your goal to maintain the weight you had day of surgery in order to keep your results long term. I do not think your BBL was a "bust" as there is a difference in your shape. It is just not a dramatic difference as you probably desired. It does appear from your photos that another surgery would improve your result.I would recommend gaining that 7lbs back and if you still aren't happy, find a board certified PS that has a lot of experience with this surgery. You appear to have some excess fat over you thighs, so I would recommend liposuction to the areas you had before (especially the flanks to get a better curve to your waistline) along with the thighs.
