I've had this scar tissue above my belly button for a few years now and finally decided to do something about it. I got my belly button pierced twice where it was rejected by the skin both times, and started to form some scar tissue. Unfortunately, I decided to pierce the scar tissue again which I think made things worse and completely pushed out the entire piercing after some time. Anyone have any answers/suggestions as to what I should do? See a plastic surgeon (dermatologist rec. it)? Thank you!

Will vary widely but if you walked into my office in Redding, you would be looking at a fee < $600. This would be for a half hour office procedure where the whole tract is removed and then both openings closed.
I appreciate your question.A picture would be helpful, but there is a way to tuck the belly button in if thats the issueThe best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative plastic...
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately its not likely to close however it is an easy operation to rectify under a local anaesthetic and does tend to heal very well. All The Best
