Am I a candidate for Sculpsure of the arms &/or thighs? Will it leave me with looser, saggy skin? (photos)

Question

I am interested in SculpSure of the arms and thighs. I want a scarless procedure for fat reduction. I had two consults with doctors on my area. One said I was a good candidate. The other was concerned about leaving me with saggy skin if they did my arms and did not think I was a candidate. Based on my photos, do you think I'm a sculpsure candidate or will I be left worse off with saggy skin? I do not want arm or thigh lift because I do not want the scars. Thank you!

In my opinion, you appear to be a good candidate for SculpSure treatment on your arms and thighs.  I primarily see fullness in the arms but not excess skin, so I do not think you would have an issue with saggy skin after the procedure.

Thanks for your question and photos.  It does appear that you should be a good candidate for SculpSure treatment to the areas of concern.  Some skin tightening is possible with SculpSure.  Plan at least 2 treatments to each area for the most effective treatment.  An in person exam would allow for the best recommendations.

From looking at your photographs, I believe your a good candidate for sculpsure. Your skin tone appears good and I would expect your skin to shrink and contract well after your treatments. Sculpsure is a good noninvasive way to reduce 25% of the fat in a given area.

You appear to be a great candidate for Sculpsure. You will need a minimum of 2 treatments per area and possibly more. You would also benefit from a skin tightening treatment post Sculpsure. The Venus Legacy is the technology that we use for skin tightening with great results.

SculpSure is a non invasive fat reduction treatment that treats up to 25% of fat in the treated area. It is recommended that at least two treatments be performed on each area of concern, spaced at least 6 weeks apart. You begin to see your results at 6 weeks after treatment with full results at 12 weeks. Although SculpSure is not a skin tightening device, we have observed skin tightening with SculpSure treatments.
You may be a candidate for treatment, depending on what your goals are from the treatment.  It is best to consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, to assess you, and to understand what your aesthetic goals are. This will help choose a treatment that is best for you.

Hello MzMartinez,Thank you for your question and photos.You appear to be a great candidate for SculpSure. It does not appear to me that saggy skin would be an issue. Although SculpSure is not FDA for skin tightening, we are seeing tightening after treatments. Sculpsure destroys 24% of fat cells in the treated area in 25 minutes. It is recommend treating the same areas twice to achieve the best results, with more fat destruction.Best to you,

From the photos, you would be a good candidate for SculpSure. When working with arms and thighs, I often use Ultherapy in combination with SculpSure, which will tighten the skin naturally. The two treatments work well together. Good luck!

For your particular issue, I would use a combination of Sculpsure with Pellefirm radiofrequency in between the Sculpsure treatment to help prevent any loose skin from developing. This has been a generally successful approach to these areas. I would consult a Sculspure Expert

Based on your photos I would say you are likely a good candidate for Sculpsure.  You will most likely need 3 treatments on the arms and thigh areas.  Depending on how well your body takes to the treatment, maybe only 2 would be needed.  It is also unlikely you will have sagging skin because Sculspure will tighten and contour your trouble areas, but not cause such a drastic weight loss quickly.
