I have been wearing my #1 tray for 5 days and my teeth don’t feel sore anymore. My ortho said, my teeth are going to hurt a lot but it means the Invisalign is working. So if I don’t feel anything are my teeth still straightening? If not, should I move on to the next tray?

The answer to this really does depend on the exact treatment plan and the specific teeth you are referring too. This is hard to say without a picture but to be on the safe side I would recommend having the button replaced before wearing any of the bands.
