As the title indicates, I was wondering if I could benefit from either of these surgeries. I have always felt like my mandible/chin is recessed and have been hiding it with a beard. I’m currently interested in getting some sort of procedure to fix this issue. Any advice will be helpful. Thanks.

Thank you for the question. It is a common occurrence for the ala width to be wider following LeFort surgery so most surgeons control this by placing ala cinch sutures at the end of the surgery. The end result should be no difference between before and after surgery in regards to the width.
