Why would you need it?
What is TT revision?

The revision of any surgical procedure is another operation geared toward improving the result of surgery that occurred previously. Technically few actually "need" revision. It is more commonly something desired to improve the result.

Tummy tuck - what is a revision?
Thank you for asking about your tummy tuck.
- A revision is any procedure done to improve a surgical result.
- After a tummy tuck, the most common revision is on the ends of the scars so they lie flat.
- But a revision can at times mean redoing the surgery.
- If you have had a tummy tuck and are pleased with your result, there is no need to worry about a revision!

People have tummy tucks revised to correct dog ears, improve scar location and appearance, and tighten muscles further if bulging recurs. Best wishes, Dr. T.
