Hi. I haven't been to a dentist in years because of lack of insurance. Lately I noticed gum recession, and I'm scared I'm going to lose my teeth. I have no idea how long it's been like this. Gums don't bleed. I definitely clench at night and have been feeling a sore lower jaw (not every day, so I think it's clenching related, not anything sinister). I found a clinic but they can't take me for 3 months. What should I do to calm my nerves? Will this get really bad by then? I'm obsessed. :(

From the photos that you attached you look to be fairly young and the recession does not look to be severe.  That being said,  I can't imagine that you can't find a dentist to see you within a couple of week period.  I would call some dentists in your area and have it checked out for your peace of mind. Are you symptomatic in the area of the recession?  If not, then it's not that big of an emergency.  From the Pictures that you have sent it seems that it is a Bite related issue.  A Pankey trained dentist will be able to identify the bite related cause of the recession.  Find a Pankey trained dentist in your area. Google the Pankey Institute.  Good Luck!
