I have had problems with this area for ever. The area just below the butt crease. I seem to have extra skin that then becomes a little puffy if I have fat there. When I loose the fat the skin is loose and wrinkled. I have not had any procedures done on this area. I dont need fat removal as I maintain below 10% body fat. Do I need a lift? I know cutting to the gluteal fold is not advisable. Any ideas?

Answer: My recommendation Hello dear.As you said, banana rolls are very tricky area and it's hard to tell for sure without an in-person consultation and examination what is the best option for you. If you are considering any type of surgery, I would suggest you to please consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and best recommendations for you.Best of lucks,Dr. Luis Mejia.
