Redensity 2 is a very good filler to use in the under eye because it is really thin and has a low percentage or swelling and Tyndall. In Canada it is the only filler that is FDA approved for the under eyes. You would be a good candidate for the under eye filler but also you would need some filler for your cheek as you do have some volume loss there and it would look nice and blended with the tear trough region

Thanks for sending your question and pics.  Your images reveal mild fullness in your lower eyelids  from visible fat pockets that descend with age. You also have a prominent tear trough below the fullness.  This is a common scenario for many patients as their  lower eye structures change throughout ones  thirties and forties.  While surgery is the gold standard for eyelid rejuvenation non surgical solutions such as redensity are often done to delay surgical intervention.  Ive been using redensity 2 for over 5 years and its an excellent product for filling in tear toughs. I frequently combine this procedure with co2 laser resurfacing of the lower eyelids to improve lower eyelid skin changes such as fine lines. In cases like yours where a you are contemplating both options I typically encourage my patients to  try the non surgical option first as its an office procedure which takes minutes and results last approximately a year.  Surgery can be performed if the filler does not allow a patient to reach their goals.
