Sagging Skin on Jawline After Fraxel- What Should I Do?

I had a fraxel laser to my lovely skin about 7 months ago now and everyday I get more and more depressed. I have sagging skin and lines on my face that I never had before. It seems as if all my fat left my face and sagged to my chin and jaw line area. Has this happened to anyone and has anyone had a neck lift to help repair the damage ? Please, someone help me!

Thank you for your question. There is transient dryness to the skin, and copious hydration is needed after a fractional treatment.  I recommend a good non-oil moisturizer and sunscreen.   You may need a mini-lift, but I would wait 6-8 months before asking that question. I hope this helps!

Fraxel laser skin resurfacing is not a deep treatment and frequently should be repeated in order to get the desired results.  Fractional CO2 laser treatments are deeper and lead to more skin tightening.  You may not be seeing the results you desire for a variety of reasons.  A goon physical examination and review of the treatment already given will be the only way to make a recommendation.  I suggest you start by going back and discussing it with the surgeon who did the original lase treatment.
