When is it safe to use topical minoxidil and topical finasteride after the hair transplant?

I underwent FUE surgery 4 weeks ago with 4000 grafts. I previously used oral finasteride but experienced side effects, so I'm considering trying a combination of topical minoxidil and finasteride. Is it safe to use this mixture after 4 weeks post-op?
