I have been getting PRP microneedling treatments for an atrophic forehead line scar I got from an accident with great results. I purchased growth factor serum from one of those high-end cosmetic websites and am applying it twice a day, however, some of the edges of the atrophic scar are hypertrophic. Will applying the growth factor serum make the hypertrophic scar worse since it is supposed to stimulate collagen production? Or perhaps aid in hypertrophic scar treatment?
