Is it safe to have a fat transfer to the same sites as my 5-year-old Bellafill?

Good question. Yes, frequently inject fat into patients who have had products like Bellafill or sculptra. There is nothing wrong with Bellafill and in fact I use it quite a bit. However, my preferred choice for volume enhancement is fat. Fat transfer and experience hands can achieve the most natural looking results which are also permanent. Unlike Bellafill, fat is totally natural. And unlike Bellafill it is permanent. Please see someone with a lot of experience with fat transfer if you want the most predictable and natural looking results.

Having had previous Bellafill injections will most likely not create significant problems for having current fat transfer.

Bellafill is a Main of a microscopic plastic spheres which act as foreign bodies. Should these get contaminated then it can be more challenging to heal infections but infections in facial procedures is pretty uncommon. I’m guessing you’re referring to a facial procedure though you did not say so. Each provider will have their own view of this so the only way to find out is the provider you’re interested in having the procedure with has an issue with it is to ask them directly.
